Weather Policies: Closures
The Guild will be open regular hours during all snowstorms unless weather conditions appear to put families and staff in undue danger when traveling to and from the site.
We will do our best to inform our families of weather closures as soon as possible.

SCHOOL AGE PROGRAMS:

Public School Early Dismissals: If Public Schools dismiss early or cancel after school activities due to weather, our school age programs will be canceled. We will not pick your child up at school. Please arrange to have your child picked up and brought directly home from school.

Public School Closures: When the public schools are closed, our school age programs will be open for full-day care unless otherwise specified.
*Exception: When Worcester Public Schools are closed, our Hamilton, Quinsigamond, Rice Square, Tatnuck Magnet, Union Hill, Woodland Academy, and Worcester Arts Magnet programs will also be closed.
- Burncoat, Granite Street, and Grove Street will be open unless otherwise specified

Weather Policies: Transportation
Transportation may be cancelled if the Guild determines that it is not safe to transport children due to severe weather conditions.
*Transportation will be canceled when public schools are canceled.*

The individual area transportation cancelation policies are available at each program.

Public School Delays: No morning transportation. All programs, including School Age programs after school, will be open until their regularly scheduled closure time. Transportation will be decided on a case-by-case basis. In most circumstances, a decision will be made by noon that day and the notifications will be posted as stated above.
