Welcome to the Guild of St. Agnes, a long-standing, educational, private, non-profit child care agency. Founded in 1913 the Guild's mission is to: Provide families with quality, affordable, early childhood education and school age programs in a safe, nurturing, environment for children 4 weeks to 12 years. Today, the Guild is the largest early education and care agency in Central Massachusetts with all of our child care centers accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). We serve approximately 1,300 children in 6 child care centers, 120 licensed family homes and 13 school age programs.

The Guild offers developmentally appropriate learning environments for your child. Our programs use Teaching Strategies GOLD, which is an assessment, reporting, and curriculum planning system. This system helps us to track what your child is doing and plan meaningful activities that match his or her strengths, needs, and interests. Our centers utilize the online version of this program.

The Guild is very proud to have taken a leadership role in educating our teachers. All Lead Preschool Teachers hold a bachelor's degree in Early Education or a related field. Many of our teacher assistants have associate degrees or are currently enrolled in college.

Our child care program provides children with developmentally appropriate learning environments while also offering working parents year-round childcare services. The Guild also offers comprehensive services including transportation, meals and behavioral health services and referrals. Our program is licensed by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, (NAEYC).
