Approximately 84% of the children at the Guild of St. Agnes need some financial help while enrolled in one of our early education and care programs. Federal and state government programs pay for some of their expenses and most families also pay some of the costs.

But, there are always expenses be they necessary incidentals, such as coats and shoes in winter, or larger ones like upgrades to the buildings or the extra maintenance expenses when something breaks. We operate on a close margin and need help from the community to pay for such costs. Please consider making a gift to the Guild so we can continue to provide quality services to the families of Worcester County. Doing so will help us to educate children well during their early years, the most significant years for brain development. Their educational future depends on getting a solid foundation and a great start in life – just what the Guild of St. Agnes gives them, and by extension, gives the broader community.

Since 1913 the Guild has fulfilled its mission consistently and with pride: providing families with quality early childhood education and school age programs in safe, nurturing environments for children 4 weeks to 12 years. As the largest not for profit early education and care agency in Central Massachusetts, you will find our programs in the following locations: a) centers are in Charlton, Devens, Fitchburg, Gardner, Webster, and Worcester; b) 125+ family child care homes throughout Worcester County; and, c) After School/Out of School Time programs in most of the Early Education and Care Centers and several of the Worcester schools.
