Weekly Menus

The Guild of St. Agnes follows the nutrition, health, and safety guidelines prescribed by the Commonwealth of MA, Department of Early Education and Care and the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program.  For detailed information on these guidelines and requirements, please see:

Children are fed balanced meals daily. For a copy of a weekly menu, please contact the director of the child care site your child attends, or the one you are interested in having your child attend (see our Locations They will be happy to discuss what a typical week’s meal plan looks like.

At those sites where the Guild provides food for the children, parents provide infants their formulas until they can eat baby food; infants and infant-toddlers are given whole milk; toddlers and preschoolers are given 1% milk, water and fruit, 3 times/day; toddlers are given the same food as preschoolers with the exception of food the government identifies as one a child might choke on.  Our Food Service Director has her certification in Food Safety Management and Safe Serve, and whenever possible she purchases locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables, serves only USDA approved meats and fish, selects healthy snacks for the different age groups and prepares new menus on monthly cycles.
