Throughout the year  the Guild of St. Agnes hires people for various positions. All full time positions at all locations must apply to the Human Resource Department in Worcester. Once a resume/application is received it is reviewed for the qualifications that match the open position. Assistant Teacher:
Requirements include a high school degree and an innate understanding and love of children. In this position you will assist in shaping the classroom environment within agency guidelines by contributing to and maintaining a quality early childhood program. The ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude is a must for this position.


Teacher:
Individuals interested in this position must be qualified by the Department of Early Education and Care . The qualifications include a grade of B or better in a college level course in Developmental Child Psychology and nine months of documented experience working with either infants/toddlers or pre-school children in a supervised setting. A willingness to continue your education is required. Applicants must demonstrate knowledge of children's physical, emotional, and developmental patterns along with general learning theories and curriculum development.


Lead Teacher:
The individual interested in this position must possess Lead Teacher certification by the Department of Early Education and Care . Requirements include a Bachelor Degree in Early Education or a related field and two years experience is preferred.

Your ability to demonstrate leadership skills, effective communication skills, working knowledge of the Department of Early Education and Care regulations, emotional maturity and stability are key in this management position.


Center Director:
This position requires Director II qualifications of the Department of Early Education and Care . In addition to meeting the requirements for Lead Teacher, a masters degree in Early Childhood or a related field is preferred. Supervisory experience, leadership and organizational skills are mandatory for this key position along with effective working knowledge of the policies of the Department of Early Education and Care .


Assistant Group Leader:
This position requires a genuine interest in school age children. An Assistant Group Leader will assist the Group Leader in carrying out their responsibilities. To qualify for this position you must be at least 16 years of age and have a high school diploma or be currently enrolled in a high school program.


Group Leader:

Group Leaders must be at least 18 years of age and have one of the following experiences:
    A Bachelor or Associate degree and three months experience working with school age children;
    A high school diploma and have six months experience working with school age children including three months supervised
         experience at a school age child care program;
    Nine months of experience with school age children including three months supervised experience at a school age child
        care program.


Site Coordinator:

Site Coordinators must be 20 years of age, had previous supervision experience and meet one of the following requirements:
       Have a high school diploma and two years of documented experience working with school age children ages 5 through 12,
         excellent communication skills and prior leadership experience;
       Have a Bachelors degree in a related field and 6 months of documented experience with this age group;
       Have a Bachelors or Associates degree in an unrelated field and 9 months of documented experience working with this
         age group.
