rates and subsidies

The rates for your child care vary depending on your child’s age, type of care and the number of days your child attends. When you call or visit the Guild of St. Agnes, we would be happy to discuss the fee schedule with you. The Guild of St. Agnes has numerous contracts with the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care, which allow us to accept a variety of rate subsidies. Feel free to consult with our administrative professionals to explore your eligibility for such subsidies.

The following are the most commonly used subsidies:

Voucher

A parent who has been on TAFDC or TANF within the past ten months and is currently working or attending a school or training program is eligible for a voucher. Approval must be given from the parent’s social worker in order for a voucher to be issued. Once approval is granted, a visit to Child Care Resources (508-798-8112) will provide you with the actual voucher.

EEC Subsidized Slots

A parent who has not been on welfare, is working or attending school, and is 50% below the State Median Income may be eligible for a subsidized slot. The cost of child care for children in these slots is based on the parent’s income. A designated Guild of St. Agnes professional will provide you with information regarding the State Median Income and will help you to determine if you are eligible for this type of subsidy.

United Way Scholarships

Due to the generosity of people who support the United Way of Central Massachusetts a limited number of funds are available to families who live within the communities served by these agencies. Such scholarships are offered to qualified families when state subsidies are unavailable.
