how we're funded

The Guild of St. Agnes is a non-profit childcare agency serving children since 1913. As a
non-profit organization, we receive funds from several different state and federal agencies.
The Department of Early Education and Care, the licensing agency of all Massachusetts licensed child care agencies funds 67% of our annual budget. The state Bureau of Nutrition funds 4%, public and private grants are responsible for 7% and 22% of our funds are contributed through parent fees.

In the Public Sector, the United Way of Tri County, North County and Central MA subsidize some of the parent fees for families who do not meet the criteria to receive any other financial assistance.
